This is a wonderful novel that I would recommend to anyone. It has action, adventure, romance, intrigue and of course style which is something Sindey Sheldon's books never lack!!!!
Like all Sidney Sheldon's books, Windmills of the Gods is equipped with a silky yet entrancing writing style that makes it impossible to put down.
loved this book.....wat it feels like to fall in love with a perfect guy...and you cant get over it throughout your life.....
What I liked about these characters was that they were everyday women, no special talents like karate and no weapons at their disposal, and the way the two of them worked so well as a team when their personalities and backgrounds were quite different.
Sydney shows his talent again with this book about two women obsessed with a man.
You have this sweet girl who is betrayed by his husband but still insists on his love, and the selfish and ambitious actress who ran across the man in dispute at an early age and, since that moment, centers her life in resuming their love story.
Though this is dated and not one of Sheldon's best works, it is very suspenseful and held my attention to the bitter end. It was a satisfying read and, though not necessarily a keeper, it was worth the time.
This is a well-written, exciting story about the world of actors, agents, and directors. Its shows the dark side of Hollywood.
The only Sidney Sheldon novel in which the main character is a Male. I liked the book but ending was not that good !!!
As with all of his novels, Sidney Sheldon's "The Best Laid Plans" intrigues from the start and compels the reader to continue reading until the very last page is turned. His use of true-to-life dialogue delivered by larger-than-life characters and unhampered by dense paragraphs of meaningless description moves the story along at a fast enough pace to make this the perfect escape for that day
Best work from Sidney Sheldon. The story is so realistic and has a sad ending. In one of his interviews, Sidney Sheldon said that he got fan mails from lots of girls who decided to become lawyer after reading this book.
